The London based The BibleCode Sundays are a band often described as Celtic rock, folk music or rock music. Their sound uses influences from a mixture of traditional Irish instruments and contemporary rock back line. ==History== Formerly known as "Slainte", they were voted ''"Best Band on the London Circuit"'' 2006 in The Irish World awards in their first year as a band. The band started their recording career under the band name "Slainte" in 2006 with an album of traditional Irish songs. The name of that particular album was ''BibleCodeSundays'' (in reference to the Bible code and other drink fueled conspiracy theory conversations regularly held after Sunday gigs) and later to be the name of the band. The success of their first recording - primarily of cover songs - gave the band confidence to go back to the studio to record original material. ''Ghosts of our past'' was recorded in 2007 in Panic studios Park Royal. They signed to the cosmic trigger label in New York whilst on tour there promoting the album, and had several tours to the States afterwards. Almost directly after the completion of Ghosts of our past, the band returned to the studio to record ''Boots or no Boots'' in 2008, the band toured extensively in Europe and the US to promote the album under the 'Scarlet' label The success of both albums culminated in the band being booked to play many prestigious gigs and events including the Glastonbury festival, Celtic Park in Glasgow to play before Glasgow Celtic F.C. matches and being the guest band on ''Sky Sports Soccer Saturday Christmas Special'', a spoof of the X Factor programme called the ''Y in factor'' in 2007. The band have also supported the Boston band 'The Dropkick Murphy's' on their homecoming tour in Boston on St. Patricks day 2009. The band supported Van Morrison & Thin Lizzy at the London Feis in June 2011. The band are the official band of London Irish Rugby club, with their song "Maybe it's because I'm an Irish Londoner" being an official club song. In 2011 the band released their EP ''The Pittsburgh Kid'', their first release for over 3 years. A BCS song "Boys of Queens" was also used as an epilogue in the US TV series ''Unforgettable''. On the 22nd November 2013 the band released their third album ''New Hazardous Design'', and followed up with a covers album entitled ''Live Near Abbey Road'' in spring 2014 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The BibleCode Sundays」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
